Weekly Classes

Our weekly classes cover either;

a range of taught CLASSES, COVERING hand-building TECHNIQUES, glazing and decorating skills.

or you can sign up to a dedicated throwing weekly class, to build on the initial skills you have gained from one of our private throwing sessions.

NON TAUGHT SESSIONS ARE FOR THOSE WANTING TO PRACTICE THROWING AFTER A PRIVATE THROWING SESSION OR AND EXPERIENCED HANDBUILDER OR A MAKER WHO CAN ONLY COMMIT TO ONE SESSION A WEEK.

Cancellations for rescheduling or refunds have to be done a week before the course starts.

Under no circumstances do we post work out to you, collection only.

Taught classes of hand-building techniques. you will cover two if the making techniques which include coiling, pinch pots and slab building. You will also be introduced to glazing your work and using decorating slips (coloured clays) to decorate you wares.

Projects will be part of the weekly classes and aimed at handbuilding. Throwers will be supported to practice and develop their skills.

We allow 2 catch up sessions per 6/7 week course where possible. We will require notice of absence at the start of the course to enable working our catch up sessions.
